Please help me congratulate our good friend Paul McKenna of North America Affiliate Scarboro Missions (who brings us The Golden Rule Poster) for his and his steering committee’s announcement that they have received third prize in the World Interfaith Harmony Week contest sponsored by His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan.

On Thursday, Paul will be flying to Jordan with Michelle Singh of his steering committee to accept this award from King Abdullah, who initiated this important week in February that was adopted by the United Nations. As you may know, URI Representative to the United Nations Monica Willard works very hard to promote WIHW and each year produces an extraordinary program at the UN.

Please help me congratulate Paul and the Toronto World Interfaith Harmony Week Steering Committee! Take a moment and visit this site and read about Toronto’s wonderful model of a prize-winning week of interfaith events.

We also wish to congratulate the first prize winner, Universal Interfaith Peace Mission and their president, Dr. Allama G. R. Chishtiof, who are a URI Pakistan Affiliate.
